This VN refresher course is designed for
- VNs who have been away from bedside practicing over a long period and are preparing to restart practicing
- VN graduates from outside the U.S in preparation for and seeking employment in the U.S.
- VN who graduated more than six months ago and are looking for employment.
- VNs who would like to sharpen/update their skills.
- VNs seeking CEUs
Course Objectives: PTHC VN Refresher course main objective is to provide the VN with the essential knowledge and skills needed to perform safely and efficiently in either acute care, long-term, medical clinics and in home care setting. That fading confidence instilled during the training period will be restored through PTHC Refresher Program!
Admission Requirements: VN license of from any United States Board of Registered Nursing.
Course hours: minimum 2 maximum 80 based on student most recent VN experience. Could be theory, in skills lab or healthcare facility.
Completion Requirements: Attend all sessions as indicated on the enrollment agreement. Complete all assignments. Attain a minimum score of 73% theory and pass both skill and clinical if indicated.
